The External Stakeholder Workshop of the SMART4ENV project, which aims to improve the scientific capacities of TÜBİTAK MAM in Smart Environmental Technologies for climate change adaptation, was organized online last week. SMART4ENV team consisting of Prof. Dr. İlkan SARIGÖL, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selda Murat HOCAOĞLU and Dr Burcu Kıran created an interactive atmosphere. Divided into 2 groups (1st Group: Water Wastewater Room; 2nd Group: Agriculture Room), the participants discussed the obstacles/challenges to implementing digitalization and smart environmental technologies and offered solutions by prioritizing the shortcomings.
As ANS Education and Consultancy, we tried to contribute to the Agriculture Room Group of the Workshop with our experience gained from the LOESS project, which we have been conducting for 18 months and aiming to increase soil literacy. We thank the SMART4ENV team, especially Burcu Uyusur-Kiran for inviting us to this Workshop.
