As part of Dissemination Plan in ‘Climateracy Project’, ANS attended an online webinar titled “Digital technologies for climate action in the classroom”. This webinar aimed to introduce the participants to the potential of technology in mitigating climate change. Teachers/educators were provided with an overview of digital tools and resources that they could use in their classroom to unlock solutions to combat climate change.
Special emphasis was placed on teaching strategies for boosting student participation and engagement in activities related to climate change. Finally, the webinar offered practical examples of how to differentiate instruction and encourage students to organize initiatives for climate action.
We had the opportunity to meet online with teachers across Europe and sharing ideas about different teaching strategies for boosting student participation and engagement in activities related to climate change. We also could inform the participants about our project-Climateracy by sharing the link of the project website with them and of course grew our network for climate change education.
