We conducted a hands-on activity combining both digital and field-based approaches with students at the Kumluca Vocational School of Akdeniz University.
Using the LOESS Mass Mapping Tool and Augmented Reality app:
- We conducted soil observations, collected and analyzed data, and examined different soil types on-site.
During the remainder of the event, through a field visit to greenhouse areas, we jointly assessed the role of soil health in real production processes.
This experience enabled students to learn by applying theoretical knowledge in the field and to evaluate soil from a more holistic perspective.
