We were delighted to take part in the 11th Living Knowledge Conference – Research & Solidarity, hosted by the University of Gdańsk.

The conference brought together researchers, practitioners, and organisations who share a common belief: research can create greater impact when it is developed with communities, not only for them.

As ANS Education & Consultancy, we were also pleased to contribute to the session “The Role of Science Shops in European Research Collaboration.” During the session, we shared our experience from Türkiye, our work and vision for strengthening Community-Engaged Research and Learning (CERL), and our initiative to explore a Science Shop-inspired model in Türkiye.

The conference offered valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, build new connections, and explore future collaborations with organisations and professionals from different countries.

We returned from Gdańsk with new inspiration, new perspectives, and renewed motivation to continue promoting collaboration, participation, and community engagement in research.

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to such an inspiring experience. We look forward to meeting again at the next Living Knowledge Conference!
