The 4th Learning/Teaching/Training Workshop of Erasmus+ project ‘Nature Loving Kids-NLK’ was held in Tiszafüred-Hungary between the11th and 15th October 2019.
During the teacher training held in the host kindergarten, the participants engaged in a series of activities on learning through discovery, Nature detectives’ game, discovering the life cycle of trees through drama and guided observation, researching seeds, saplings, adult trees and fallen logs, observing animals living in trees and they increased their knowledge and skills.
The activities with the children of the host school became a hands-on training for the participants. The main ones of these activities are the use of plants in treatment, going to the forest to collect edible wilds, mathematical activities with branches, and preparing food in the hut.
