As the LOESS Türkiye team, we continue to investigate the state of soil health awareness education in Türkiye and interview experts in this field. Our guests this week are:

-Burcu Çelikel (Science Teacher at Antalya Bahçeşehir Park Orman Campus)
-Gökhan Sivaslı (Agricultural Engineer)
-Ibrahim Hakan Gün (Agricultural Engineer-Agricultural Consultant)
We interviewed each individually on the Zoom online platform for about 60-90 minutes. We discussed the content, shortcomings, and challenges of healthy soil awareness education provided at different educational levels (primary-secondary-secondary-high school-general public-civil society-farmers). We also discussed how the desired healthy soil education should be. We want to thank each of them for participating in the LOESS Turkey Community of Practice and for sharing their valuable knowledge and experiences with us through these interviews.
