From 31 August to 4 September 2026, ANS participated in DİJİTOPRAK – Soil Literacy and STEM Integration in the Digital Age for Innovative Teachers, organised by the Giresun Provincial Directorate of National Education in Giresun, Türkiye.
The event brought together teachers from across Türkiye, academics from different disciplines, representatives of public institutions and education decision-makers, providing a valuable opportunity to introduce and share the educational resources developed within the LOESS project.
During the event, participants focused on the LOESS Learning Scenarios, Soil Atlas, Case Studies, and the online MOOC for teachers. Discussions focused on how these resources could support soil literacy education, particularly through STEM-based learning approaches and integration into existing school curricula.
ANS also shared the Turkish-language educational resources developed within LOESS, helping make the project’s materials more accessible to teachers and other education stakeholders in Türkiye.
The event provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences, gather perspectives from different educational and disciplinary backgrounds, and explore the potential application of LOESS resources in various learning environments.
